Different online tools to help learn Sanskrit, which I use and suggest for beginners are given below.
This simple dictionary site for beginners will be of great help, and I use it frequently.
This Sanskrit Computation Toolkit site has very useful and simple way of finding noun and verb forms. I mainly use to quickly refer online the Krdanta, Vibhakti form and Verb forms.
To refer Panini Sutram and Ganapatha I refer this Ashtadhyayi site, where you get verb forms and different Gana info.
To know the different individual steps with associated Panini Sutram while getting noun forms (subanta) or verb forms (tiganta) I found this site very useful for me.
To input Sanskrit texts I use Google’s free tool and paid Baraha software. Also, I use this site, to convert coding online from Devanagari and other Indian languages to IAST and other coding forms. You can try PramukhIME where you can scan Indic language picture and edit the texts or type Sanskrit online with Vedic Swara.
These two sites I frequently visit to get digital books, which are either out of print, very old or shared by individual Sanskrit learners.
Sanskrit Documents Organization site has collection of links to various resources. I did not check all the links in this site.
Various audio books, text books can be listened or read online from Archive Organization site.
You can get low priced edition of a variety of books written by scholars from Samskruta Bharati Book Store. You can order online and get it delivered at your door steps!
Udemy provides limited interaction between Students and Teacher. For various reasons, among students no interaction is provided. So, I created this Google Group, where my students can interact with me as well as other co-students. Please read and understand before becoming member of the Sanskrit Learners Community.
This group is not moderated and all members can publish posts. So, take care of the info and topics you post or share with other members.
